In Service for the Whole Person
Alex is a licensed massage therapist and Structural Integration practitioner who blends fascia-focused bodywork with Hakomi somatic coaching to help clients release chronic tension and unwind stored patterns from the inside out.
Alex offers Structural Integration bodywork rooted in mindfulness and directed at relief, balance, awareness, and education. Structural Integration is a slow, steady manual therapy of the body's fascia. With roots in osteopathy, in combination with Hakomi somatic coaching, Alex's practice helps you identify and address inefficiencies, trauma, and energetic and emotional blockages. Alex practices in the Anatomy Trains Structural Integration (ATSI) and Hakomi Somatic Coaching traditions.
Alex brings extensive bodywork and corrective exercise training, including certifications in functional movement, functional anatomy, calisthenics, and fascia release. His background also includes competing as a semi-professional athlete and working in mechanical engineering and management. His calling to support others in their wellness now finds him serving the Fort Collins communities in person, and communities worldwide remotely.
When he is not with clients, Alex can be found playing with his daughter and son, exploring Colorado, getting into nature, and investing in his own wellness and healing.
Sessions are predominantly 90 minutes, with shorter or longer options as needed. Working together can involve talk, touch, supported imagery, movement, breathwork, corrective exercises and stretches, and CBT or DBT style homework. No two sessions look the same. Each one is guided by what the client needs that day.
Structural Integration (SI) Bodywork
Going deeper than traditional massage, SI targets the body's connective tissue (fascia), including muscles, nerves, and scar tissue, to address postural imbalances and the lingering effects of past injuries or trauma. Informed by Rolfing and Anatomy Trains principles, it gently reorganizes your physical structure, reducing strain on your joints, calming the nervous system, and restoring more effortless movement.
Hakomi Somatic Coaching
Your body holds access points to memories, beliefs, and emotional patterns long after the mind has tried to move on. Hakomi is a mindful, trauma-informed approach that uses physical sensation to gently process stored emotion. Through breathwork, grounding, and guided body awareness, you build a deeper connection to bodily sensation that naturally improves emotional regulation, leaving you feeling more empowered, secure, and at home in yourself.
