Our Community

This is not a clinic. It is a collective. Independent practitioners rooted in Northern Colorado sharing a commitment to healing through the body.

Something Was Already Alive

Somatic healing was already happening in Fort Collins and Northern Colorado. Skilled practitioners were doing profound work in private offices, studios, and community spaces. An international training movement was growing. Small groups of practitioners were finding each other and deepening their practice in community.

What was missing was a front door.

The Somatic Healing Network exists to be that place. A community built around one shared conviction. That every nervous system has the capacity to heal when given the right conditions, the right support, and the right environment to do so.

A Community First

This is not a clinic. It is a collective of independent practitioners who share a commitment to embodied, ethical, and heart centered care.

The network includes SEI credentialed Somatic Experiencing practitioners, licensed therapists integrating body based approaches, massage therapists, yoga therapists, breathwork facilitators, somatic coaches, and energy based practitioners. Each one brings something distinct. All of them are here for the same reason.

To help create the conditions where your nervous system can do what it already knows how to do.

A Note on Who We Are

The Somatic Healing Network was founded by Andrew J. Heinz, MSW, LCSW, a Fort Collins based therapist and SEP candidate with nearly two decades of clinical experience. Andrew created this directory after recognizing that people in Northern Colorado were searching for somatic support without a clear way to find it. His own healing journey gave him a felt sense of how transformative the right conditions can be and a deep desire to make those conditions more accessible in the community he calls home.

The somatic field is wide and includes many valuable approaches. Two practitioners in this network are currently on the SEP credentialing path through Somatic Experiencing International, founded on the work of Dr. Peter Levine. Every practitioner listed here is reviewed for alignment with the network's commitment to embodied, ethical, and heart centered care.
